As you say, Crowley is a weak character/antagonist, not really franchise material.

I am looking forward to Spiral which I added to my Quickflix (Australia's second rate answer to Netflix) queue immediately after watching Hatchet.Banned In Queenslandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14879785662764733057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6025641868116014090.post-16742585664930830612011-07-01T13:48:16.768+10:002011-07-01T13:48:16.768+10:00I agree completely. I liked Kane Hodder as Victor Crowley's father, but not as Victor Crowley. In fact Victor was the weak point of the movie for me. After I watched it, I was on the fence about it. But then I watched the behind the scenes stuff and everyone involved was so enthusiastic and likable that I couldn't help but like the movie.

And I agree that Frozen is where Adam Green shows his real talent. Spiral is also an effective piece of psychological horror. He seems intent on continuing the Hatchet series, but I'd love to see him develop more original ideas.Marvin the Macabrehttp://montanamancavemassacre.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.com
